Bjørn is a materials engineer by trade with more than 10 years of international experience, mainly within the offshore sector – including the practical parts hereof. He has experience with the entire value chain covering design, fabrication, installation and operation of WTG foundations.

He started his career in Oil&Gas working on a construction site, since followed by a move to offshore wind where he was involved with the development and implementation of a novel monopile corrosion monitoring system. After working two years with pressure vessel fabrication, and becoming a certified welding engineer, he has now returned to offshore wind where he split his time between the design office and the construction site.

He works with any material related matters including material selection, corrosion and fabrication support but his main focus is the design and implementation of Structural Health Monitoring solutions for new and existing assets.
