Ed is a chartered structural engineer with extensive delivery experience of major offshore projects. He has led a number of offshore projects from inception to installation, through a range of certification regimes within both the renewables and oil and gas sectors. Having led the Project Delivery division within Wood Thilsted, developing best practice regarding risk and schedule management, and the Growth department working closely with international clients, Ed now leads the company’s innovation function – bringing new solutions to meet the needs of an energy system in transition, and deliver outstanding outcomes for our clients.  In addition to managing a series of challenging technical packages and project, Ed has a keen understanding of constructability and installation sequencing, and how they should be addressed within the design.
