Emil Ushev

Lead Geotechnical Engineer

Emil Ushev is a Geotechnical Engineer with ten years of experience. He has been involved in Commonwealth Wind, BC Wind, PIGS JIP Driveability study, Dogger Bank A, B, C and D, Akita and Noshiro and East Anglia 3 Offshore Windfarms. 

Before joining the industry, Emil was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Imperial College London working on the development of thermo-hydro-mechanical testing equipment for testing soils at high temperature. He had also completed an experimental PhD at Imperial College London working on the characterisation of the North Sea’s Bolders Bank till as part of the PISA project.
