A geotechnical engineer by training, Johan has spent the last 15 years working almost exclusively on offshore wind projects in various roles from detailed designer to site investigation specialist and to various project, line and commercial management roles. Johan has spent 10 years in developer organisations, interacting with decision makers, maturing sites and projects, and taking them through all stages including early planning, maturation, construction, and operation. Johan has a particular interest in geohazard identification and mitigation as well as geotechnical design optimisations.  His expertise includes pile and cable installation, jack-up assessment, pile testing and design. Following a 3 year expatriation to Taiwan setting up the Wood Thilsted branch in Taipei, Johan returned to Denmark as Head of Europe supporting the build-out of the region’s offshore wind.
