17th March 2025, London | Copenhagen | Taipei – Leading Offshore Wind Energy Engineering Consultancy Wood Thilsted has appointed Dr. Sarah Elkhatib as Director and Head of the APAC Region. Sarah will play a key strategic role in driving forward the company’s ambitious growth plans and presence across Asia Pacific.  She will be based in Taiwan and travelling regularly across the region, responding to the diverse needs within each country.

Sarah brings two decades of leadership, project delivery and business development in the offshore energy industry across APAC, Europe and the UK.  She previously served in senior roles within the energy consulting sector and has a strong focus on working collaboratively with Clients to achieve their objectives.  Sarah also holds key positions within industry bodies, volunteering her time to global efforts focused on education, technical excellence and knowledge sharing, further reinforcing her leadership and influence in the offshore energy market.
